Keith Nabors

Keith Nabors, 44, of Mt. Vernon, and formerly of Vardaman, Miss., passed away at 9:44 a.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon.

He was born in Bruce, Miss., on Wednesday, June 5, 1963, a son of Morris Nabors and Lee A. (Shirley) Osborn.

Funeral services will be held at Vardaman, Miss., with interment at Old Town Cemetery in Vardaman.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.

Keith is survived by his mother, Lee A. Osborn of Mt. Vernon; four brothers, Ralph Nabors and Shari Stoltz of Mt. Vernon, Wayne Nabors and wife Misty of Mt. Vernon, Eric Nabors of Mt. Vernon and Phillip Nabors of Mt. Vernon; a sister, Lynn Hayes and husband Donny of Mt. Vernon; two stepbrothers, Michael Osborn of Mattoon and Maxie Osborn, Jr. of Mattoon; two stepsisters, Patricia Ammons of Kenosha, Wisc., and Bonnie Wease of Mattoon; and several nieces, nephews and cousins including Dale Nabors and wife Susan of Cape Girardeau, Mo.

His two loving fathers, Morris Nabors and Max Osborn preceded him in death.

Keith worked for Affordable Furniture in Houlka, Miss., and attended Vardaman Methodist Church.
