Isobel Braden

Isobel Braden, 82, of Charleston, passed away at 7:50 p.m. Thursday, May 15, 2008, at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Caudill-King Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Isobel was born Dec. 3, 1925, at Harrisburg, daughter of Ed and Ethel (Tolbert) Keneipp. She married Charles L. Braden, May 5, 1946, at Harrisburg; he survives.
Also surviving is one daughter, Carla Spicer; one son, Stan Braden; two granddaughters, Meagan Braden and Rachel Spicer, all of Charleston; and one sister, Ina Allen of Harrisburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Troy Keneipp.
Isobel formerly attended First Baptist Church of Charleston and had been a member of the Eastern Star in Harrisburg. She retired as a secretary from Charleston National Bank and had previously worked for the Illinois Department of Public Aid in Harrisburg. Isobel’s life was centered around her family, and she treasured each moment she was able to spend with them.
