---- — Donald Gene Musick, 82, of Mt. Vernon, died at 8:54 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at Union County Hospital in Anna.
He was born May 13, 1931, in Mt. Vernon, a son of Chesley Owens Cromwell Musick and Hilda Marie (Steffans) Musick. He married Nancy Rendleman on June 12, 1960, in Alto Pass, and she survives in Mt. Vernon.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Musick is survived by two daughters, Beth Styron and husband John of Granby, Mo., and Karen Musick of St. Louis; a son, Bob Musick and wife Trish of Springfield, Mo.; five grandchildren, James, Grace and William Styron, Nolan and Grant Musick; sister, Doris Sanders and husband Syl of Dallas; nephew, Mark Sanders of Dallas; and a niece, Gayla Kohlmann of Fountain Hills, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Robert Owens Musick.
Donald was an attorney until retiring and was a member of the American Bar Association and First United Methodist Church in Mt. Vernon.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Oakwood Cemetery in Mt. Vernon with the Rev. Victor Long officiating.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.
