Warren Clark, 92, formerly of West Salem, passed into Eternity on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014, at Rest Haven Manor in Albion.
Warren was born in Orchard Township, Wayne County, on April 3, 1921, to Bert and Clara (Rutherford) Clark. On Dec. 19, 1945, he married Glenna Luthe in Olney, and they enjoyed over 68 years of marriage. She survives.
Warren and Glenna raised two boys as if they were their own, Chris Murphy and Jim Murphy.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by Chris (Nellie Schafer) Murphy of West Salem and Jim (Vickie Lomas) Murphy of La Peer, Mich.; a sister, Bea Prezioso of Mt. Vernon; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a niece, Alice Baker of Clarksville, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, John Clark; and one sister, Maria Doweny.
Warren was a supervisor at Champion Laboratories in West Salem before his retirement. Following retirement, he loved to play golf, often times daily. He enjoyed being outdoors in nature and especially took pleasure in cutting firewood.
He was a member of the First Assembly of God in Olney.
Per Warren’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and there will be no formal services.
