---- — LouAnn Stegall, 59, of Mt. Vernon, died at 7:17 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Carbondale Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.

She was born June 23, 1954, in Mt. Vernon, a daughter of Robert and Mary (Shrader) Williams. In 1993, she married Steven Stegall in Manchester, Ohio. He survives in Mt. Vernon.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Stegall is survived by six daughters, Anita Woodworth and husband John of Mt. Vernon, Georgia Pickett of West Frankfort, Crystal King of Ohio, Melissa Leahy and husband Wes of Kentucky, Jeania Smith and husband Jake of Oregon and Stephanie Stegall and Amanda of Ohio; three sons, Robert King of Illinois, Jeffery Blevins of Illinois and William Blevins of Ohio; a brother, Bill Williams of Illinois; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.

LouAnn was of the Baptist faith.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at Oakwood Cemetery in Mt. Vernon with Mr. Marty Mills officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.

There will be no public visitation.

Memorials may be given to the Stegall family and will be accepted at the Hughey Funeral Home or mailed to the funeral home at PO Box 721, Mt. Vernon, Il. 62864.
