Bryan “Buddy” Clark, age 45, of Mt. Vernon, passed away 10:40 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, at his home.
Bryan was born Feb. 25, 1968, in Mt. Vernon, a son of Stan and Lenore (Ilbery) Clark.
Bryan worked as a computer operator for Walgreens Distribution Center in Mt. Vernon. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Woodlawn and recently attended the West Long Prairie Christian Church.
Buddy is survived by his parents, Stan and Lenore “Norie” Clark of Mt. Vernon; sisters, Carrie Wheeler and husband Todd of Woodlawn and Kelly Fark and husband Brian of Trenton; three nephews, Aaron Wheeler and wife Kaita, Corey Wheeler and Brennan Fark; niece, Delaney Fark; great-nephew, Mason Wheeler; three great-nieces, Kalli Wheeler, Jacie Wheeler and Lilyen Kennedy; and also several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and also several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services for Bryan “Buddy” Clark will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Newell Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon with Pastor James Mckinzie officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Woodlawn.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Newell Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.
