---- — Myrleen Gladys Eidson, 77, died at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at White Oak Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Mt. Vernon.
She was born July 16, 1936, in Seminole, Oka., the daughter of Myrel and Gladys M. (White) Eidson.
She is survived by a sister, Linda Browne and husband Jim of Mt. Vernon; a brother, Maurice Eidson and wife Shirley of Benton, Ark.; six nieces, Pam Blanchette of Mt. Vernon, Kelly Lesan of Troy, Stacey Lowery of Evansville, Ind., Tranae Brockhouse of Mt. Vernon, Julie Richards of Arkansas and Lisa Reed of Arkansas; and several great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two infant sons.
Myrleen was a nurse’s aide at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon, was a beautician, she loved doll collecting and was of the Christian faith.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2014, in the Chapel at Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn. Interment will be in Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn.
There will be no services following the public visitation.
