---- — Anna Marie (Ellis) Wicklein, 70, of Morton, died at 7:18 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18, 2013, at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

She was born at home July 8, 1943, in Johnsonville, to the late Hubert and Mary Louise (Ozment) Ellis.

On May 10, 1989, she and Lyle F. Wicklein were married in Las Vegas. He survives in Morton.

Marie worked for K-Mart and later for SIHC until retirement when she and Lyle became foster parents, opening their home and hearts to children in need and making them feel like a part of the family. She was a member of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Peoria.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Carrol and Stephanie Richardson of Cerro Gordo; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia and Craig Wells of Morton and Teddi Sue and Steve Lundstrom of Alton; two stepdaughters and son-in-law, Diane and Tim Baker of Beecher City and Laura Wicklein of Las Vegas; 11 grandchildren, Kayla and Emily Richardson, Peyton, Niya, Preston, Chloe and Levi Wells, Ries Lundstrom, Ashley McCoy, Amber Goeckner and Daniel Baker; two great-grandchildren, Brooklyn DuPont and Braxton Goeckner; a brother and sister-in-law, Ted and Brenda Ellis of Effingham; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn and Ron Mahnke of Festus, Mo. and Laura and Dale Henson of Cisne; a sister-in-law, Linda Ellis of Keenes; an uncle, Jimmie Ozment of Wyandotte, Mich.; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Kaufman and a brother, John Ellis.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of services at noon Thursday at Garrison Temple United Methodist Church in Keenes with the Rev. Mark Shell officiating. Burial will follow at Garrison Temple Cemetery.
