The Rev. Lena M. Windland, 89, died 7:25 p.m. Sept. 18, 2013, at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.
She was born May 30, 1924, in Keenes, the daughter of Tilford and Lizzie (Holthouse) McKinney. She married the Rev. Luther Otto Windland on Sept. 4, 1945.
She was a minister, CNA and worked at the dress factory.
She is survived by daughters, Edna (Jim) Todd of Fairfield, Anna Beasley of Cisne and Carolyn (Jack) Luetge of Frisco, Texas; sons, Harry (Christine) Windland of Bluford and Bill (Annette) Windland of Cape Coral, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brother, Bob McKinney of Bluford; and brother-in-law, Nelson (Doris) Windland of Fairfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Luther Otto Windland; her parents; and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Archie Sanders Memorial Chapel in Wayne City. Interment will be at Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home and from 1 p.m. until the time of service Sunday at the chapel in Wayne City.
