---- — Stanley Wayne “Bud” Crider, 63, of Mt. Vernon, passed away Wednesday Nov. 6, 2013, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Mr. Crider had worked in the oil fields and also Continental General Tire until failing health. He had attended the Calvary United Pentecostal Church in Mt. Vernon. Bud served his country in the United States Marine Corp.
Stanley was born April 1, 1950, in Mt. Vernon, a son of Lowell and Vera Ruth (Sefried) Crider.
Graveside funeral services for Stanley Wayne “Bud” Crider will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Kirk Cemetery in Ina with Mr. Charles W. Cralley officiating. Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 141 of Mt. Vernon.
He is survived by his aunt, Anna Coffey of Phoenix; a cousin, Randy Dodson of Phoenix; and also several special friends, Sherry Moss of Mt. Vernon, Robert Falley of Bluford, Roy Baker of Mt. Vernon, Rodney Howard and Terry Howard both of Ina.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lowell and Vera Ruth (Sefried) Crider; brother, Donald Crider; aunt, Helen Walker; and uncles, Clifford and Jake Sefried.
