---- — Juanita Yvonne (Border) Helpingstine, 73, of Ina, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born in Mt. Vernon on Sept. 17, 1939, the daughter of James and Dollie (Williams) Border.

Juanita was a caregiver for most of her life.

She is survived by her husband, Rick Helpingstine; son, Vincent Tennyson; two daughters, Tammy Willcox and Paula Brewer; grandchildren, Jessica Timperley, Robert Lambert, Elizabeth Lambert, Ashley Brewer, Jennifer Brewer and Laura Brewer; great-grandchildren, Mariah Brewer and Roger Hutsonpillar; two sisters, Phyles Cox and Jeannette McDonald; and numerous nieces, nephews and close family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Newton DeYoung; and three brothers, Gerald Border, Gary Border and Carl Border.

At Juanita’s request, no services will be held. She chose to give life to others by being an organ donor.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Juanita’s name may be made to the American Heart Association.

The Johnston Funeral Home in Ina is in charge of arrangements.
