Mildred Bernice Kell, 86, of Mt. Vernon, died 2:15 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2014, at Terrace View Gardens in Cincinnati.
She was born Friday, Jan. 20, 1928, in Mt. Vernon, the daughter of Hobart McKinley and Sophia Lena (Loos) Campbell. She married William Melvin Kell on July 11, 1946, in Vancouver, Wash. and he preceded her in death on Sept. 16, 2005.
She is survived by son, William Michael Kell of Trinity, Fla.; daughter, Katherine L. Kell of North Bend, Ohio; three grandchildren, Sarah Brown of Cincinnati, Ben Brown of Cincinnati and Steven “Nick” Brown and wife Carrie of Cincinnati; five great-grandchildren, Kaylie Brown, Payton Brown, Benjamin Scott “Scotty” Brown, Harper Brown and Kenzie Marie Brown; and half-brother, Roger Campbell of Centralia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, John Patrick Kell; two brothers, Hobie Campbell, Jr. and William Campbell; one sister, Dorothy Sesney; and one sister-in-law, Jane Campbell.
Graveside memorial service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be at Zion Grove Cemetery (County Line Cemetery) south of Kell Road.
Mrs. Kell has been cremated and there will be no visitation.
