Doris Struckhoff, 71, of Texico, died at 12:50 a.m. Friday, July 4, 2014, at Good Samaritan Regional Healthcare Center in Mt. Vernon.
She was born on Feb. 15, 1943, in St. Louis, the daughter of Amos F. and Naomi Mae (Tripp) Dace. On Jan. 30, 1965, in Troy, she married Ed Struckhoff, and he survives in Texico.
She was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her family and grandchildren and taking care of her home.
In addition to her husband, Ed Struckhoff of Texico, she is survived by three sons, Mark Struckhoff and wife Tina of Texico, Jason Struckhoff of Texico and Kyle Struckhoff and wife Jessica of Joplin, Mo.; eight grandchildren, Shaylin, Coy and Cade Struckhoff of Texico, Quinlyn, Stetson and Madison Struckhoff of Texico and Mason and Healey Struckhoff of Joplin, Mo.; one brother, Kenny Dace and wife Joyce of Kell; and one sister, Diane Woodward and husband Jack of Kell.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services for Mrs. Struckhoff will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Randy Hayes and Steve Hamson officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery following the service.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Osborn Funeral Home in Dix.
