Pauline Glenn, 98, of McLeansboro, died at 9:45 p.m. Monday, July 7, 2014, at McLeansboro Health Care and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Nov. 18, 1915, in Macedonia, the daughter of Noble and Jewell (Benbrook) Reed. She married Carl H. Glenn, who preceded her in death.
Pauline retired as a rehabilitation assistant having worked at the McLeansboro Health Care Center for many years. She was a member of Hamilton County Homemakers Association and Webb’s Chapel Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Janet Thorson and husband Walter of McLeansboro; two sisters, Maxie Reed and Faye Sandusky, both of McLeansboro; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers, Ralph and Norman Reed; and one grandchild.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 11, 2014, at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Robert Sefried officiating. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery in McLeansboro.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the service time Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Webb’s Chapel Methodist Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
