Scott Allen Etienne, 40, of McLeansboro, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013, as a result of a tragic vehicle/pedestrian accident.
He was born Jan. 7, 1973, in Carmi, the son of Richard Keith Etienne and Debbie K. (Fulkerson) Etienne. He loved to fish and hunt and collect arrowheads. He was the head nautical mechanic, employed by APC Sales & Marine Services in Marion. He was a Protestant by faith.
He is surivved by his father, Richard Etienne and wife Teresa of Mt. Vernon; his mother, Debbie Broyles and husband Ted of McLeansboro; two children, Tanner Ingram of Enfield and Tristan Etienne of Marion; a brother, Cody Etienne of McLeansboro; two sisters, Kaci Etienne of McLeansboro and Ashley Broyles of Chicago; and a grandmother, Melba Fulkerson of Carmi.
He was preceded in death by grandparents.
Funeral services were held 1 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the REv. Alan Spangler officiating.
A private family burial of ashes will be conducted at a later date.
Visitation was held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 18 at Harre Funeral Home, McLeansboro.
For those who wish, memorials may be given to Hamilton Memorial Hospital Foundation or Comprehensive Services of Mt. Vernon and will be accepted at Harre Funeral Home.
