---- — Irvin Robert Nadolski, 69, of Mt. Vernon, died 5:29 a.m. Monday, May 27, 2013, at his home in Mt. Vernon.

He was born Thursday, July 29, 1943, in Jefferson County, the son of Leo and Ruth (Rash) Nadolski.

Irvin served our country in the United States Army. He worked as a taxi cab driver in Mt. Vernon.

He is survived by his brother, Lawrence Nadolski and wife Judy of Woodlawn; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Raymond and James.

In honor of his wishes, he was cremated and there will be no visitation.

Graveside memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 21, at Smith-Veterans Cemetery in Jefferson County with the American Legion Chaplain officiating. Interment will be at Smith-Veterans Cemetery in Jefferson County. Members of Mt. Vernon American Legion Post 141 will conduct full military honors at the cemetery.
