---- — Patty Zerger, 49, went to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 12, 2013.
She had overcome many health struggles, including a liver transplant in 1991, before the Lord called her home.
Patty was born Aug. 5, 1963, to Don and Sue (Overbey) Neal. She grew up in the Belle Rive area surrounded by many friends and family members that continued to pray for her.
Patty is survived by her husband, Dan Zerger and one daughter, Felicia Puckett, three stepchildren, April, Adam and Andy as well as three stepgrandchildren. She is also survived by her parents, Don and Sue (Overbey) Neal, one sister, Ladonna Richards and husband Frank. Also surviving are two nieces, Carmen Wiggins and husband David, and Stacy Taylor and husband Nathan, one nephew, Clint Richards and fiance Sydney Walker. Also surviving are one great niece, Stella Kate Wiggins and two great nephews, Grant Liam Wiggins and Sylas Don Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Howard and Minnie (Ratliff) Neal, George and Lela (Cross) Overbey, and two uncles, Freeman “Skip” Neal and George Robert Overbey.
Memorial services will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. June 22, 2013, at Patty’s home church, Belle Rive Baptist Church.
All friends and family are invited to attend and share as the family remembers and celebrates Patty’s life. A meal will be served for all who care to stay at 6 p.m.
