Ms. Lavern E. (Setzekorn) Udarholt, of Ashley, departed this life at the Nature Trail Healthcare Center in Mt. Vernon at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, April 25, 2014. She had attained the age of 87 years, 6 months and 13 days.
Ms. Udarholt was born on Oct. 12, 1926, at Nashville, the daughter of Leon and Louise (Heck) Klamm.
Lavern was a homemaker and a member of the Ashley Methodist Church in Ashley. She loved fishing, watching the St. Louis Cardinals and playing pinochle.
Left to mourn her passing are four children, Charles Setzekorn of Ashley, Shirley Butler and husband Phillip of DuBois, Karen Braden and husband Scott and Charlotte Borowiak and husband Louis, all of Ashley; a brother, Leonard Klamm and wife Doris of DuBois; seven grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Darlene Kerry.
Per the wishes of Lavern, cremation was performed and a memorial service will be held at the Campagna Funeral Home in Ashley at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 3, 2014, with the Rev. Curtis Anselment officiating and with internment of ashes to follow in the Chapel Hill Cemetery in DuBois.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the service hour Saturday at the Campagna Funeral Home.
