Cecelia Schilling, 85, of Nashville, departed this life on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013, at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon.
She was born on Oct. 27, 1928, at DuBois, the daughter of Peter and Rose (Dlubala) Pelcynski. She was united in marriage on Nov. 25, 1948, to John Rolf Sr., and he preceded her in death. Cecelia was then united in marriage to Stanley Stanowski on April 11, 1964, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 12, 2006. She later married Ray Schilling on Nov. 6, 2010, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 6, 2012.
Cecelia was a homemaker and a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Nashville. She loved gardening, flowers and playing bingo and bunko.
Left to mourn her passing is four children, John Rolf and special friend Kim Loss of DuBois, David Rolf and wife Pat of Nashville, Carol Gann and husband Joel of Bradenton, Fla., and Kevin Stanowski and wife Lauri of Nashville; three stepchildren, Stephanie Ritter and husband David of Buffalo Grove, Tammie Mueller and husband Paul of Collinsville and Christopher Schilling of Waukegan; six grandchildren, Missy Bochantin and husband Mark, Erik Rolf and wife Adrienne, Jennifer Maschoff and husband Patrick, Emily and Aaron Stanowski and Dustin Gann; five great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three husbands, four brothers and five sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Ann Catholic Church in Nashville with Fr. Andy Knopik officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville.
Should friends desire, mass offerings or memorials can be made to the St. Ann Catholic Church or School and will be accepted at the Campagna Funeral Home.
