Mrs. Traci Rae Pelczynski, of Ashley, departed this life at the DePaul Healthcare Center in Bridgeton, Mo., on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at 3:57 p.m. She had attained the age of 37 years and five months.
Traci was born on Oct. 31, 1976, in Nashville, the daughter of Daniel and Barbara (Janssen) Harre. She was united in marriage to Terry Pelczynski, Sr. on Sept. 23, 2000, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville and he survives her passing.
Traci was a graduate of Nashville Community High School, class of 1994. In 1996, she graduated from Kaskaskia College with her associates degree and later went on to gain her registered nurse degree from there also. Traci worked as a registered nurse at the Critical Care Unit at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville. Traci enjoyed volunteering for sporting events at her children’s school, St. Ann Catholic School. She loved reading, camping and cheering on her family at sporting events. Traci was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt and friend and will be missed by many.
Left to mourn her passing is her husband, Terry Pelczynski, Sr.; two children, Terry Jr. and Tailer Pelczynski all of Ashley; her parents, Dan and Barb Harre of Nashville; maternal grandmother, Lillian Janssen of Nashville; two sisters, Brooke Baum and her husband Jeff and their children, Brendan and Breckin of New Minden and Rebecca Harre and her special friend Ryan DuBois of Chicago; nine aunts and uncles, the Rev. Richard (Ruth) Harre of Auburn, Marilyn (Syl) Stiegman of Nashville, Marcile (Ron) Jack of Farmington, Mo., Phyllis (Rodney) Silger of Hoyleton, Deb (Brad) Meyer of Nashville, Michelle (Michael) Brost of Arlington Heights, Midge Harre of Nashville, Cindy Harre of Oakdale and Sue Harre of Nashville; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John “Pepper” and Jane Pelczynski, Sr. of Ashley; a brother-in-law, John Pelczynski, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Dix and their children, Nicole (Ben) Borrenpohl and daughter Afton, Britany (Sam) Fishburn and sons, Stryker and Staks, Roxzen (Josh) Knapp and Tommy (Breanne) Pelczynski and children Brody, Brynlee and Bristol; a sister-in-law, Debbie Holle and her husband Nathan of Hoyleton and their children, Donovan, Devin and Janie; and other relatives and a host of friends.
