Norma Jean Lemons, 72, of Ina, passed away at 8:15 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2013, at her home.
She was born in Salem, on Oct. 31, 1940, the daughter of Cecil L. and Vera L. (Floyd) Brown. She was a Christian of the Baptist faith. She married Harold H. Lemons on June 25, 1961, in Waltonville; he survives.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sisters and brother, Patricia Sheridan and husband Junior of Ava, Mary L. Myers of Mt. Vernon, Cecil T. Brown of Fairbury, Frances R. Austin of Mt. Vernon, Dennis Brown and wife Mary L. of Ashley; several nieces and nephews; and a father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Marge Lemons of Mt. Vernon.
Mrs. Lemons was preceded in death by her parents and two infant children.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, at Johnston Funeral Home in Ina. Burial will be in the Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Woodlawn.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Johnston Funeral Home in Ina.
