---- — Pamela E. Miller, 71, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., formerly of Mt. Vernon, died Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at the Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Mo.
She was born Tuesday, Oct. 28, 1941, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., to Robert C. and Naomi G. (Day) Garner.
Pamela was co-owner, bookkeeper and secretary of Aero Welding Supply in Mt. Vernon. She enjoyed playing cards with the “Remocwen Ladies,” loved to travel, camp and was an avid NASCAR fan. She was free-spirited and loved
spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert L. “Bob” Miller of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; two sons, Larry W. (Tracy) Miller of Saint Louis and
Timothy L. (Leigh) Miller of Houston; two brothers, Gary W. (Peggy)
Garner of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Bob C. (Ann) Garner of Pevely, Mo.; one sister, Belinda (Jim) Goggin of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; and six grandchildren,
Danielle, Caleigh, Brody, Austin, Josh and Zach.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be Friday, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Entombment will follow at Cape County Memorial Park and Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
