Patsy Ann Martin, 78, of Woodlawn, died 5:23 a.m. Friday, Jan. 17, 2014, at Mt. Vernon Countryside Manor Residential Living Center in Mt. Vernon.
She was born Monday, Nov. 25, 1935, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Naomi Faye Moore. She married Donald G. Martin in Woodlawn on Nov. 17, 1956. He preceded her in death on Aug. 15, 2008.
Patsy worked as a secretary for Baldridge Concrete and was a member of the Woodlawn Baptist Church.
She is survived by son, Garret Martin and wife Kathy of Woodlawn; two daughters, Donella Mullinax and husband Bart of Woodlawn and Kara Ferguson of Mt. Vernon; three grandsons, Garret Ryan Richardson and wife Kassi of Camden, S.C., James Matthew Mullinax of Lexington, Ky. and Levi Aaron Ferguson of Mt. Vernon; three granddaughters, Shanda Ralyn Hale and husband Ryan of Wadesville, Ind., Brecca Rae Mullinax of Carbondale and Shawna Marie Ferguson of Mt. Vernon; two great-granddaughters, Morgan and Sophia; two great-grandsons, Jackson and Haedyn; and one aunt, Betty Lusby and husband Charles of Woodlawn.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Faye Adomat; stepfather, Gustav Ludwig Adomat; uncle, Billy Bob Moore; and four aunts, Nina Bourland, Maxine Troutt, Mary Lou Kiefer and Peggy England.
Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Mt. Catherine Cemetery in Jefferson County with Mr. James McKinzie officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Catherine Cemetery in Jefferson County.
