MT. VERNON —
Kevin E. Hunt, 58, of Fostoria, Ohio, passed away Tuesday morning, Dec. 11, 2012, at Fostoria Community Hospital in Ohio.
He was born Nov. 26, 1954, in Mt. Vernon, to the late Fred E. and L. Fern (Robertson) Hunt. He married Margaret Bostic on July 1, 1995, in Findlay, and she survives in Fostoria, Ohio.
Also surviving are four children, Nathan E. (Wendy) Hunt of Fostoria, Ohio, Andrew R. Hunt of Fremont, Ohio, Jason D. (Erica) Hunt of Fostoria, Ohio, and Angela M. (Michael) Hahn of Fostoria, Ohio; a stepson, Michael (Michelle) Bostic of Hampton, Va.; nine grandchildren, Natalie, Blake, Jordan, Jade, Hailey, Logan, Alex, Michael and Mason; and two sisters, Mary Alice Vogel of Toledo and Pamela Rash of Port Charlotte, Fla. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lori Ann Hunt; a son, Chad Hunt; a brother, Gerald McQueen; and a brother-in-law, James Rash.
Kevin retired in 2009 from TK Atlas of Forstoria, Ohio, after 30 years of service. He was a member of Fostoria Eagles and a 1973 graduate of Fostoria High School. Kevin will be remembered for his passion of gardening and the sincere love he had for his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.
Visitation is Sunday, Dec. 16, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Hoening Funeral Home, 242 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, Ohio, where a funeral service will take place at 8 p.m eastern time with the Rev. Donald Goodwin presiding.
A funeral service will also take place Tuesday, Dec. 18, at 1 p.m. central time at Newell Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon with the Rev. Karen Blank-Ewell officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Mt. Vernon.
