Congratulations to the Jefferson County Ministerial Alliance, Mr. and Mrs. Barry Jackson, Scott Tickner and all those involved in the return of a baccalaureate service for the graduates. Next to the Mt. Vernon Township High School Foundation starting the science lab, this is the best news I’ve heard in a long time.
Also congratulations to the newest members of the MVTHS Outstanding and Distinguished Alumni. I hope the administration takes this opportunity to present these people to the whole student body in a special assembly so they could have the benefit of learning from these successful members of our community.
