Lady Ram volleyball teams falls at West Frankfort

— The Mt. Vernon Lady Rams volleyball team battled West Frankfort Thursday, but dropped their second match of the season with a 25-10, 25-19 loss on the road.
Erin Moore had two kills and a block. Kathleen Sledge finished with two blocks. Miki Belcher tallied six assists. Leamber Broady led the team with three kills. Tyler Morgan had a kill, block and five service points.
The Lady Rams (0-2) will have a match Tuesday in the team’s first South Seven Conference tilt at Centralia.
