Trojans take two from Chester

Webber’s baseball team won a pair of games against Chester on Saturday.

The Trojans took the opening game 6-5 and won 5-2 in the second matchup.

Austin Gowler delivered a two-out hit that scored a pair of runs to give

Webber the lead late in the first game.

Ty Henderson relieved starter Logan Ganieany to get the win. Ganieany threw

five and two thirds innings. He allowed just one hit. He finished with four

strikeouts and two walks.

Henderson had two hits and three RBI at the plate.

Jordan Wheeler threw a complete game in the second matchup. He allowed five

hits and one earned run. He finished with four strikeouts.

Ganieany had four hits, and Koaltin Dye finished with two hits. Gowler had a

hit and two RBI. His hit pushed the Trojans into the lead.

Lane Moser, Wheeler and Henderson finished with a hit and RBI each.

Webber is 6-2 this season and is scheduled to travel to Woodlawn today.
