NORMAL (AP) — Illinois State University's presidential search committee is scheduled to meet in Normal.
The panel, which is looking for a replacement for ISU President Al Bowman, is expected to meet Thursday and is set to quickly move into a closed, executive session.
University officials have said they hope to hope to release a list of finalists this spring and hope to have a new president in place by the fall.
Bowman said late last year that he was retiring because of health issues.
He took the helm of the school in 2004.
