Peoples National Bank displays student artwork

(Continued)

MT. VERNON — —

I'm proud of it,” Sanders said. “I think (the display) is a good idea.”

Other student artists with works in the display include Patrick Burke, Daniel Flood, Ayla Gehner, Natalie Hensley, Drew Hester, Molly Koester and Mikayla Martin.

Gliosci said he'd like to make the showcase an ongoing feature at the bank, possibly adding new student art three times a year.

The current art display at Peoples will be up until the end of February.

It's a nice way to give them a little exposure,” Gliosci said of the young artists. “I think art is a great way to stimulate the young mind.”
