Schools dismiss early, other cancellations

MT. VERNON — The following schools have announced early dismissals and other weather-related cancellations have been received. They include:

Dodds Grade School - 2 p.m. dismissal

Farrington Grade School - 1 p.m. dismissal

McClellan Grade School - 1 p.m. dismissal

Mt. Vernon Alternative and Safe Schools - 1 p.m. dismissal

WOBR Grade School - 1 p.m.

Rend Lake College - noon dismissal

Waltonville Grade School and high school - noon dismissal

Webber Township High School - 1 p.m. dismissal

Woodlawn Grade School and high school - 1 p.m.

Rend Lake College - Noon dismissal; WYSE contest scheduled Wednesday has been rescheduled to Wednesday, Feb. 12

Mt. Vernon Township High School, 2:30 p.m. dismissal



Citizens Police Academy cancelled tonight; will resume next Tuesday.

Centralia at Mt. Vernon, girls basketball, rescheduled to Feb. 10

Edwards County at Webber, girls basketball

Odin at Waltonville, boys basketball

Woodlawn at Sesser, boys basketball, rescheduled to Feb. 12
