History Society's ice cream social attracts a crowd

(Continued)

MT. VERNON — —

One such person was Sandy Tinsley of Dix, who brought four of her five grandchildren to the ice cream social.

Saturday was the first time Tinsley and her grandkids had been to the social, but it likely won't be their last.

Tinsley said she has been greatly impressed with the Historical Village and its dedicated staff.

They are very, very good,” Tinsley said. “It's a great group of people.”
